VERSE I Hark the Heralds Horn in the Hollow Stark in Stygian Half Light It calls to restless Sidhe to ride this night. Bestride the Western Wind, black wing darkened sky. Briarthorns twist & writhe, choke augurs cries. CHORUS One shrill blare from horn resounding I feel my doom draw closer Dancing wights, bathed in wraithlight Fell us as wheat, oh host of the restless Sidhe of the barrow! VERSE II Six of wounds to cast on you, As shades of sluagh jeer. Unforgiven dead, almost here. Descend on western wind, howling cloaked in drear. Anoint the taken, in evergreen ash & tear. CHORUS One shrill blare from horn resounding I feel my doom draw closer Dancing wights, bathed in wraithlight Fell us as wheat, oh host of the restless Sidhe of the barrow! CODA Final blare from horn resounding I feel my doom is here! Dancing wights, bathed in wraithlight, blood harvest moon. Fell us as wheat, oh host of the restless Sidhe of the barrow!

VERSE I: Dusk fall, marching forward into the dying light. Solstice of our longest night, no edge in sight. Threshold, the verge we’ll cross into unfurling black beyond. Destruction resplendent. Hail the breaking of the World. CHORUS: Dearth and its dread, No dirge for the dead. Scream the promise of mutual annihilation. Grand collapse, curse of inaction. The great serpent coils and leers. VERSE II: Vexation, the creator. Egregious acts of oppression reign. Dire times, greed and scorn. The son is dead, the veil is torn. Scourge the coil with terror and toil, We saw this coming. Damnation resplendent. Hail the breaking of the World. CHORUS: Dearth and its dread, No dirge for the dead. Scream the promise of mutual annihilation. Grand collapse, curse of inaction. The great serpent coils and leers. BRIDGE: Domineered by false Kings, Whom depredate soil and soul. Whilst the idle drown in blackened glass. Catastrophe self-inflicted. CODA: Dearth and its dread, No dirge for the dead. Scream the promise of mutual annihilation. Dishonour the promise of mutual annihilation.

VERSE I (First Act): Distant figures part the morning mist, Banks that billow roll through their wake. Dawn breaks, breath the wildfire glow. Three companions march on. Beloved fallen carried on high, Great golden flame to banish deepest night. VERSE II (Second Act): Vaulted skies cracked as you fell, Even they wept for you. Your repose waits on the hill, Journeys end where land and sky collide. Last rites, a farewell by fire, One last song to send you beyond. Ascend ancient crest, ancestors attest. No pain assuaged, nor sleep, nor rest. INTERLUDE VERSE III (Final Act): I, sole heir, to this my dying day. The howling beyond now bellows my name. A clarion call that rings and resounds. Astride the veil, only now I see, The carried fallen is me. We, stoic as stone. Three voices rise to invoke, To call upon the old ones, heed us now. All-Mother below, Earthen womb, great boundless unknown. Break slumbering ground, skyward, strike a stone to their name. All-Mother, hear us at our darkest, we need you now. Our life's blood departs upon your summits shroud. All-Father above, foehammer, great thundering tide. Strike down with pyres light, a parting gift of flame. I, sole heir, to this my dying day. Last rites by fire, forever I shall stay, From where I hold the sky.

VERSE I: Lo, drink deep depths below. Galvanise my spirit. Intone, quicken the undertow. Encumbered and bound, but departing the lie. Low, will my bones forward, Onward through harrow and yawning divide. You, thy torch-bearers flame Raze the path home, we’re not going that way. CHORUS: Gyres dance by erstwhiles pyre light, Riding screams forth into the long night. Let conflagration breath out new life, Burning briars that bind, Moors that suppress, Bonds which restrain, Cast from spires that spurn us from starting again. All came from nothing, and unto nothing they shall return. VERSE II: Galvanise thy spirit. Intone, wounds of the overthrown. Conjure conviction, render resolve. Row, cross through the mire, The only way forth is straight down the line. Bridges ablaze to light the seeker, Follow roots of the Earth, find a new way. CHORUS: Gyres dance by erstwhiles pyre light, Riding screams forth into the long night. Let conflagration breath out new life Burning briars that bind, Moors that suppress, Bonds which restrain, Cast from spires that spurn us from starting again. All came from nothing, and unto nothing. Will forth from nothing.

VERSE I: I can never leave this place, This cairn of my life's esteems. A stone orchard for dead songs and dreams, Yet the Goddess stills screams to me - Bow down, break the hands of the maker, Return in-kind the stones of the takers. Turbulence, your votive to wield, This muse's flame your shield. Rise and resist the refrain. Stand, spit forth sanguine again. Sear shut wounds from the Father Upon my creations fire. Ride forth with the gale, chasing the tide. CHORUS: Reef myself free from the threads, as I come undone. Commit my body to your restless sea. Breath deep of smoke of sage, your effigy. Lost in ritual, found in you, my Goddess ablaze. VERSE II: Her Iapetus divide, chiaroscuro divine. In duality I find The aestus at your heart. Blessed gyre that tears me apart. Again my banshee keens to me, Unto thee I gift unrest. INTERLUDE & SOLOS CHORUS: Reef myself free from the threads, as I come undone. Commit my body to your restless sea. Breath deep of smoke of sage, your effigy. I, Forever yours, My Goddess ablaze.

VERSE I: They split the standing stone To build chapels to lies We defy Perverse conversions of sacred ground But their time to wither has come. Illuminate scripts of aurum Gilded fables to deny We defy Their monoliths to mono-myths Cultural genocide PRE CHORUS: When still, we hear them call From memories of home Forebears guide your way Until your dying day CHORUS: Ancestors Speak to me Through me And when I die They wait for me VERSE II: Called to stand once more By voice a thousand strong We defy Forgotten bonds, spirit, beast Our time to be remade has come We won't withhold vengeance owed For all crushed and claimed We defy Their silent coward, and his sacrifice in vain. PRE CHORUS: When still, we hear them call From memories of home Forebears guide your way Until your dying day CHORUS: Ancestors Speak to me Through me And when I die They wait for me

The Fray 04:20
VERSE I: Our lost time collect sepias stain In her faded hands to keep Handfast to the ways that converge and part in wake. To stem To stave The fray PRE CHORUS: Fata Morgana’s blade Part all from sight CHORUS: Beyond the threadbare weave, Nights tapestry alight. All which we adore, Vanish unto the ethers host Tread the twilight seam Cannot follow Handfast to the ways That stem, That stave The fray VERSE II: Cortège to lost embrace Finality awaits To cross the twilight seam To join with you, the threads between. CODA: Our lost time collect sepias stain In her faded hands to keep Handfast to the ways that converge and part in wake. To stem To stave The fray

Wintersmith 05:41
VERSE I: They could not save the phare light Staved my side on shoals in life My timbers break in the rocks embrace The first embrace in years. All my works and splendours claimed Swept by her cold, unyielding rage. I cannot hang on Fall back into her arms CHORUS: Only peace I’ve known Far below the waters, of which I dream A moments reprieve in the crashing black Leave my bones to rust, gifts to the deep. Every rebirth feels like a death. VERSE II: This night, not first nor last My ruins I keep, time past unseen. Still the watchtower dark Has made my purpose clear. I’ll strike a light to guide you through. Until she calls me home. I cannot hang on Fall back into her arms CHORUS: Only peace I’ve known Far below the waters, of which I dream A moments reprieve in the crashing black Leave my bones to rust, gifts to the deep. Every rebirth feels like a death.

VERSE I: Down, digging ever deeper. Harrow my hallowed soil, with their frantic jagged hands Riven for stone and steel, material bled from my marrow Curse their blasted eyes, avarice their burning sign Black spiral dancing into arms of the death knell Deaf unto the tolling bell, lockstep in line with souls to sell. We betrayed her. VERSE II : Rend my flesh from bone, as if tearing hearth from home. I am empty, made hollow by my own For ligatures of silver, gallowbraids of greed and gold. We betrayed her. CHORUS: Hand in hand we march into the Styx Drown, deathless drowned Glowering Strix, sing our maledictions. VERSE III: No obols for eyes, all that glimmers is gone. Spent on age of thoughtless sleep To betray the Earth beneath their feet Black spiral dancers swinging from the tolling bell. We betrayed her. CHORUS/CODA: Hand in hand we march into the Styx Drown, Drowned. Oh glowering Strix, sing our maledictions. Hand in hand we march into the Styx Down, Drag us down Lash us to that tolling bell.
